NY TEEN GIRL AND HER ORGANIZATION INSPIRES NEW HAMPSHIRE CHILDREN'S BOOK AUTHOR

Children's book author Tabatha Jean D'Agata credits an interview with Rachel Doyle, a New York (teen) girl and Founder of a community service program Glamour Gals, aired on The Early Show with Bryant Gumble (CBS), for her latest children's book: Pampered Pal.
"The act of kindness is not only inspiring--it's often infectious," states Tabatha, who hopes her children's book "Pampered Pal" will fill children with enthusiasm and an understanding for our elder generation.
(Glamour Gals, a nonprofit organization, encourages teens to volunteer with elderly women by offering facials and makeovers. The program enriches the lives of teens and the elderly. It boosts the self-esteem of the women, as well as the teens. The Glamour Gals website lists important information and material for teens interested in starting the volunteer service in their own community. It's not just for Gals either! The premise of Pampered Pal is much like that of Glamour Gals, except the main character is a six-year-old girl. ***Some proceeds from the sale of the book, which is available in all bookstores and Internet book outlets, will be donated to Glamour Gals in an effort to support a wonderful group of teens and their act kindness.
